This changeover pin is used when the knob on the outside of the door is to be fixed - (not rotatable) - in a changeover set.
The door handle on the inside can still be moved, as the M10 thread is screwed into the knob from behind and the 8 mm square pin is attached to the thread, but can be turned.

Mounting:
The rotating square pin is guided through the lock follower in the door and fixed to the door handle with a set screw. The doorknob is screwed onto the thread of the changeover pin on the outside.â?
